Summary:

Derbyshire County Council, on behalf of Derbyshire Arts Partnership, have commissioned an Online Festivals Toolkit, which provides a wide range of information and guidance for all festivals (especially those based in Derby and Derbyshire). The toolkit covers all stages from developing the initial concept through to the evaluation, and includes details of regional contacts and examples of good practice. It is full of advice and information, tips and guidance on a number of different topics.  A number of festival organisers were consulted whilst creating this Toolkit to find out what would be most useful. So whether you need help with marketing, ticketing, health & safety, or even your constitution, you will find something in the Toolkit that will be of interest to you. The Toolkit was compiled within a short period of time by two independent consultants, Tiina Taatila and Christopher Maughan, with funding from the Rural Action Zone (RAZ) Pathfinder funding.
