Dr Richard Piper - Full Value

Tuesday 14 September 2010

John Carroll Suite, The Royal Centre, Nottingham

How can you begin to measure your organisation’s value?

Dr Richard Piper, Head of Strategy and Impact at the National Council for Voluntary Organisations will lead this seminar on social return on investments.

He will show how that understanding, and actively managing the value that your organisation creates is just as important as knowing its income and expenditure. It can help you recognise the good work your organisation does and communicate this to others such as funders, donors and supporters.

This interactive seminar will tell you how the idea of Full Value can help you appreciate your organisation’s full social and environmental impact.

Learn about, and try, practical techniques including the Social Return On Investment (SROI) model which you can use to express your organisation’s impact in financial terms.

This seminar is ideal for anyone wanting a strategic overview of how ‘value’ can help you lead your organisation to success.

Richard leads NCVO’s work to help civil society organisations to develop better strategies, greater impact and creative, high-performing cultures. He has expertise in strategic planning, involvement and participation, organisational culture, leadership and change, evaluation and monitoring, benchmarking, and quality.

Cost: £30 + VAT
