New Art Exchange (NAE) is a stunning, newly built arts centre in Nottingham which has undergone an ambitious redevelopment programme transforming it into a world-class cultural hub, led by African, African Caribbean and South Asian arts practice. NAE has a long history of producing high quality, culturally diverse arts events in the region. The centre delivers an innovative and exciting programme of activity that promotes, supports and advocates contemporary inter cultural arts development in visual, performing and participative arts.
The board is looking for new members who will give their talents towards devising a new strategic direction and shape NAE into one of the leading arts centres in the UK.
Your role as a board member, responsible with others for this new centre, will be to ensure the organisation thrives, is entrepreneurial and complies with its legal and fiscal dutiesWe are looking for committed individuals, with previous board experience, to help existing members deliver the vision for this artistic world class centre. We would like to hear from you if you are interested and would like to have a conversation with you without prejudice.Please note: Board members are unpaid, but incidental expenses are remunerated.
